This  is for a brand new unopened, 2005 model Malibu Intermatic 300 Watt Low voltage (12V) transformer with ground and timer.  This is acceptable for use with submersible lighting & pumps, where the wire is either underground or underwater.

How do you know what transformer is right?  You need to know how many watts each low voltage light is.  Say you want to put in 15 lights and each light is 18 Watts.  You would need at least a 270 watt transformer.
